\n\t<\/i>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]\"\"The Protected Natural Area \u201cParque Nacional Cabo Pulmo\u201d was decreed in 1995, when people from the community applied for this designation and decided to stop fishing and switch their activity to low-impact tourism. In 2025 it will celebrate its 30th anniversary, which marks a milestone in its history. This natural gem has been a bastion of biodiversity, a haven for many marine species and an outstanding example of environmental conservation since its establishment.<\/p>\n

The creation of this protected area represented a significant step forward in protecting marine ecosystems, and the results have been surprising. We have seen a dramatic increase in the populations of many marine species, including some that were endangered, thanks to protection measures and sustainable management initiatives.<\/p>\n

ACCP, as every year, participates in activities of environmental education oriented to the conservation of the area, from games, painting of t-shirts and activities with the children of the community, brings fun and knowledge about the importance of care of the park.
