\n\t<\/i>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]\"\"From November 2021 to April 2022, an awareness campaign on water use in Cabo Pulmo called \u201cWater and my Community\u201d was implemented, so that the community knows the current resource situation, conducts practices to optimize their use and for women in the community to monitor rainfall. There are 3 gauges placed in the community where we seek to have the first baseline on precipitation data in the area.<\/p>\n

In this campaign, previous and subsequent surveys were conducted, and it was found that the impact of water awareness activities in Cabo Pulmo was positive for both businesses and families, because when comparing the surveys at the beginning and end of the campaign there was an increase in levels of consciousness.<\/p>\n

As part of the activities carried out, we tried to disseminate recommendations for the best use of water in Cabo Pulmo through audiovisual material in digital media, printed information placed in public places (wall newspapers, visitor centers and businesses) in both Spanish and English, addressed to local and foreign families, businesses and community visitors. A badge program was implemented to promote better water resource management in both households and businesses. The badge was a banner with the campaign logo that was painted by the children of the community.<\/p>\n

We thank all the people and businesses involved: Tito\u00b4s Restaurante & Bar, Restaurante El Caballero, Cabo Pulmo Buceo Travel, Cabo Pulmo Divers, Restaurante Los Tornados, El Cardumen buceo and snorkel, Bungalows Cabo Pulmo, Cabo Pulmo Adventures, Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort, Cabo Pulmo Ecoadventures, Restaurante Pel\u00edcanos, Cabo Pulmo Watersports, Restaurante La Palapa, Cabo Pulmo Sport Center, Bungalows Las Palmas, Bungalows Sol, Mar and Tierra, La Cocina de Judith and La Tiendita de Luby.<\/p>\n

In the following years there have been different activities related to the theme, such as lectures at the school to raise awareness among children, or as the Rally: \u201cWater and my community\u201d held withing the framework of the Traditional Festivities of Cabo Pulmo 2024.
