Sea Turtle monitoring
Cabo Pulmo National Park is characterized by being a very important place for marine fauna, including different species of turtles, mainly the hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata) and the green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas).
They can usually be found resting or even feeding in various sites of the park, so it is very important that population studies of these species can be conducted to know how often they use the site, their growth and health.
ACCP performs monthly turtle monitoring in partnership with Grupo Tortuguero de las Californias and with the support of local companies.
