Environmental education lectures

One of the most important activities we do is environmental education in schools and at events in Cabo Pulmo National Park. The environmental education program aims to increase students’ environmental awareness and commitment to sustainable action between them and local communities. Participants learn about biodiversity, climate change and responsible ecological practices through interactive workshops, educational tours and conservation projects. Important topics are addressed such as the care of species: sea turtles and whale sharks form example; as well as water conservation, wetlands, beaches, coral reefs and on the care and protection of natural habitats, besides the separation and reduction of solid waste.

This program is important because it can empower participants with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed ecological decisions. The program helps create a community more committed to conservation and sustainability by educating current and future generations.
