What do we do ?
Friends for the Conservation of Cabo Pulmo (Amigos para la Conservación de Cabo Pulmo – ACCP) is a community-based civil organization founded in 2003. Our organization was inspired by the protection of sea turtles and coral reefs. Over time, we have noticed that the protection and conservation of the park has several dimensions, so we diversify and expand our efforts to take care of the environment and improve the quality of life of people living next to it.
Through our strategic lines we seek:
- Strengthen community involvement.
- To continue environmental education and actions to achieve behavioral changes.
- Provide strategic follow-up to environmental monitoring.
- Participate in decision-making spaces and collaborative networks.
Through the projects and activities that the organization has implemented with the community, the support of government bodies and other organizations of civil society, we have attained important achievements.
